A sad story with a catchy title, (altho at times i thinks it’s irrelevant). bout jack past, present and future….. his mother was thrown to death from the 17th floor by a madman… leaving him in tatters and the fobia of heights… married to caroline in teh most romantic marriage i’ll ever read bout, but then in came kid, bryan and his fling with a briton…. kid’s father died, was taken into their care (caroline and jack) but then dissapeared after sum incidents while playing football…. then caroline was killed thrown from the 2nd floor of one of their worldwide restaurants, and he was shoot 3 times leaving him crippled… physically and psychologically…. then after sum years, kid came back. as hi physio-therapists, healed him, and along the way lead him to his world and his team: the mortician, the murdress, the destiantion, the rookie, the mistake, the entertainer, and many more….. up to a point where he commited suicide, by police records… but not to jack… coz he’s fallen fro his apartment with lsd and liquor in his blood…… and the nthe stories evolved from a drma like novel to a fast pace thriller, when jack goes in pursue of the killer…. and the best part is, u won’t know who the killer is until the very lat few chapter of the books… imagine a sid sheldon’s twist with a far more twisted plot as the writer will always try to mislead the readers until u’ll say oooooooooo……..

the thing that i like bout this book is that it’s show’s how human being could beat all the outcome stacked against him with determination and a strong, really strong, will….. i also ventured a bit in the medical profession and the reality of life…. the good and bad including the most unthinkable thing that really exist in this world… and most af all the way this bok plays with the readers emotion, altho this book is a bit too fast to my liking…… plots jumbled up like the star wars ep 3….. maybe next time around u can try another of his (the writer) = gideon……

ah yes, i also like the catchy phrases used in this book….

surely one of my top 5 read …..
