cats and mouse

author: james petterson (if i got that wrong, spare me ;p)

pages: 450++

a nicely contructed story line with a perfectly organized protagonist… with a nicely carved twistt toward the end…..

two villain… soneji ( who strive to be the best crook in history with daring and intelligent modus operandi ) and the brutal alien..mr smith, who autopsied his victim.. brutal and relentless….

a story bout the family of a cop-cum-psychologist (forgot the name already aiya!!!!known as sugar - i’m never good at remembering names) the perfect father to perfect children, and a kind lover….

again. this book satisfy my definition of a good book… containing all the major elemants in life…. although not as descriptive as i wanted it to be and at times too repetitive on the same issue…. but still a nice read, a face paced story with soft moments…. the main theme, surprisingly, is familyhood… i never could hv guessed it to come out of a story on gory murders and tension filled chapters…

another plus side of this novel is that it contain philosophical values, the authir really knew his stuffs, and along the lines there is also the mentioning of sum other good books: along came a spider, angela’s ashes, etc, etc

another 7/10 for me……
